Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)
• Development of the VEGS annual business plan and operation plan in consultation with the Board of Directors.
• Preparation of client proposals and cost estimates with varying degrees of complexity.
• Lead client pitches and business development activities with the assistance of the Business Development team.
• Project management of client Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA), Initial Environmental Examinations (IEE) and Environmental Management Plans (EMP)
• Leadership and development of the Environmental team
• Oversee and manage the success of the key department metrics of revenue growth, staff utilisation, and project profitability.
• Manage project risks.
• Promote continuous improvement on projects. Monitor quality standards and practices.

Job Requirements

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science or Geology and 10 years’ practice experience.
• High level of English proficiency
• Experience undertaking IEEs, EIAs and EMPs preferably with a service company
• Experience in resettlement projects preferred
• Experience working in South East Asia
• Experience in exploration and mining industry preferred
• Strong commitment to safety and ethical behavior
• Strong communication (oral and reporting ) and interpersonal skills
