• Coordinator in terms of Safety, Health and Environmental concerns in the assigned area.
• Co-ordinate SHE related contractors e.g. Fire Equipment
• Co-lead with Site Leaders on Implementation of SHE activities.
• Lead shift leaders under the assigned area to comply with UMM manufacturing and process safety requirements and standards.
• Lead Contractor and Project In-charge under the assigned area to comply with UMM Safety requirements and standards. Responsible in checking / monitoring the PTW applied and approved under the assigned area.
• Report and monitor SHE non-compliance under the assigned area.
• Lead the regular SHE inspections of all safety equipment and related safety plan for any emergencies under the assigned area.
• Lead regular monitoring of Work Environment Measurements under the assigned area.
• Validates the initial or joint accident / incident reports under the assigned area.
• Conduct regular SHE orientation to all new / incoming contractor personnel.
• Verify / review the regular / daily disposals of Solid waste.
• Conduct inspections to all contractors’ safety equipment such as first aid kits, fire extinguishers and the like.
• Conduct on- site and off-site SHE inspections.
• Data gathering of various safety and environmental parameters needed for reporting KPI’s.
• Ensure updated data's and reports to SHE bulletin boards and score boards.
• Assist in the conduct of accident and incident investigations.
• Perform other activities as assigned by the SHE Manager.

• University degree in Science or Engineering or equivalent industrial experience.
• Excellent knowledge of Unilever and SHE Standards.
• Good knowledge of Manufacturing and Process Safety.
• Influencing skills.
• Good observation and auditing skills.
• Experience in Supply Chain operations.
• Manufacturing and/or Engineering experience.
• Proven track record of analytical thinking and project management.
• 3 years of Manufacturing Site Experience and Safety Experience.
