Your Role;

The role embraces the need to ensure that the growth objectives of the transportation business are achieved by way of providing close support at all times to the Head of Logistics.

Your Responsibilities;

• Ensure for the profitable day-to-day coordination of the transportation and distribution business in Myanmar.
• Manage the service performance to agreed client service levels, identify and negotiate Freight services with individual truck owners and/or trucking companies.
• Review vendor performance from external vendors and control the cost of the operation within the budget.
• Ensure for establishing safety and cost standards, including the planning, assigning, supervising and evaluating vendors’ performance, as well as interfacing directly with all level of people.
• Ensure Compliance with Business Principles and Code of Conduct.
• Source transportation services with respect to both existing and new business.
• Ensure the timely implementation of all agrees on transportation plans to achieve service excellence through effective Vendor Management.
• In consultation and in conjunction with the Head of Logistics, ensure that a process for continuous improvement is put in place to allow the transportation operations to improve on current levels of costs and performance.
• Order fulfillment and customer support in transport.
• Provide updates and feedback on service performance of daily operations.
• Maintain good rapport with fellow associates.
• Coordinates company’s ferries maintenance plans and schedule.

• Bachelor’s degree in any field.
• 3-5 years working experience in the transportation business and vendor management.
• Competency in English and computer literacy.
• Results Oriented and Problem Solving skills.
• Excellence customer service skills.
• Team player, independent with good communication skills.
• Proactive and able to work under pressure.
