The Senior Support Consultant will be responsible for providing support to a vast array of customers during installation, upgrade or usage of their software.• Primarily responsible for handling support tickets and application support to the end users.• Provide support such as problem fix, monitoring and testing for business application.• When an issue comes, should be able to diagnose, analyse and solve the issue.• Reviews and discusses open incidents to determine who and how the incidents should be handled.• Reviews recently closed incidents to determine if the incidents could have been handled better. If so, implement corrective action for the future.• Develop and maintain documentation for issue logs and tickets analysis• Resolve problems, provide technical support, research and answer questions related to the ERP system• Ability to deliver basic SAP training to client end-users and preparing end user training material.• Ability to work closely with peers and users to deliver optimum service. • Ability and willingness to provide on-call support as needed including during evenings and weekends.• Provides an advanced level of troubleshooting support in response to complex problems, questions and inquiries that have been escalated by junior staffs.
• Business or degree in IT, or equivalent experience• Requires minimum 5 years of experience in supporting ERP related field• Highly initiative, superior customer service, and troubleshooting skills.• Confidence and ability to understand and navigate new technology quickly• Strong oral, written, interpersonal skills and problem-solving skills• Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively• Report to head of department
