Senior System Engineer will mainly be responsible for the smooth running of computer systems and ensuring users get maximum benefits from them. Individual may include
Installation and upgrade of OS and software applications
Server and Application Migration
Preventive Maintenance Activities
Day to day Microsoft Server System Administration, Network Support Service, Firewall and VPN Monitoring
Trouble shooting System and Network failures and application related performance issues
Provide Help Desk Support & Resolve issues to client satisfaction
Customer relationship handling and timely response to requests and incidents MUST be the highest priority
Preparing project status reports
Designing test cases for manual testing of the designed IT solution for AD Domain
Active involvement in new projects related to new technology implementation or upgrade
Supporting the roll-out of new applications

Degree in Computer Science (or) IT related studies (or) Diploma in IT (or) equivalent experience
At least 3 years (or) more experience as Server and Network Support Service role
Experience in Enterprise Network Implementation and Troubleshooting would be advantageous
Strong knowledge in knowledge of MS server, NAS storage, system & network support
A good knowledge of supporting PC’s and Windows servers and other Microsoft based applications including Office Suite
Be familiar with TCP/IP networks and LAN/WAN infrastructures, VPN tunneling
Knowledge of databases, including the ability to maintain, set up and operates database servers
Confidence and ability to understand and navigate new IT systems quickly
Strong communication skills, both oral and written
Ability to convey information in a clear, concise manner relevant to the user or the developer
Strong organization skills with the ability to prioritize deliverable and plan accordingly
Initiative with the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines with minimal supervision
Customer Relations & Support
Problem analysis and resolution
Provide technical guidance and advisory to team
Develop training materials and exercises
Deliver training and information sessions internally and to end-user as and when required-Lead in technology scanning and research initiatives, analyze impact of IT technology trends on current and future enterprise infrastructure needs
To serve as a team leader of the IT support team aimed at providing level II and III support
To ensure the end-to-end delivery of quality services for Customers
