• Supervise and manage a team of staff who are in-charge to reconcile all GL and settlement accounts within the bank or with respective payment network schemes such as Visa, MasterCard, UPI, JCB and MPU.

• Ensure all accounts are reconciled daily and all variances are accounted for and reverse within 3 working days. Any items not reverse within timeline will have to be reported to higher management for further decision.

• Ensure minimal losses for the department and submit items that needs to be written off within each financial year

• Ensure accuracy and timely posting of GL entries and accounts to the correct accounts including all depreciations, accruals and provisions entries

• Ensure proper record management and retention of all account reconciliation documents for future record recovery purpose and audit requirement

• Train and improve the capability of staff in reconciliation of all accounts and identifying reasons for unreconciled items.

• Conduct weekly and monthly thorough review of all accounts to ensure that the accounts tally with respective reports from Card Management or Loans Systems.

• Review and improve reconciliation process and SOPs

• Identify problems or bottlenecks areas and recommend for automation or straight through processing to improve reconciliation process and efficiency

• Produce a weekly and monthly Trial Balance and Profit and Loss of Unsecured Loans to Head of Function and higher management

• Produce various periodic MIS and Management reporting as required

* Strong experience in Accountant and Finance background

* Good exposure in working with Ms. Excel and leading a team
