Job Description

A Good Opportunity for ..

JOB PURPOSE
To focus on sales and customer relationship management while ensuring the right customer sourcing. To increase sales across the SME loan products and services of the bank. To provide professional advice on loan application and procedures. To conduct preliminary credit assessment, ensuring high quality loans. To manage the portfolio of existing SME Clients, serve new clients, prospect for new SME Clients in line with the Banks acquisition strategy. Duty stationed at Yangon branches.

KEY ACCOUNT ABILITIES:
Sales and customer relationship management (55%)
 Acquire new SME customers to expand loan portfolio
 Explore new avenues for customer marketing and acquisition
 Serve existing and new to bank “walk in” customers redirected from branches
 Facilitate customer pre-application and application process
 Explain and educate customer on Yoma Bank SME loan products, application procedure and requirements
 Facilitate customer onboarding for account opening
 Plan and manage schedule for customer visits and interviews
 Participate in daily SME huddle / review meetings as required
 Redirect non-SME-needs clients to the respective product specialist colleague
 Conduct regular review on own portfolio to further identify new opportunities
 Introduce SME customers to other Yoma products such as SMART, Payroll, HP, Home Loan etc. and redirect interested customers to the relative sales managers
 Provide coaching and mentorship to new SME managers as required

Credit risk management (30%)
 Ensure “right customer sourcing” i.e. credit worthy customers to maintain quality of loans
 Conduct customer / business site inspection, interviews and preliminary credit assessment using QCA – ensuring and maintaining high quality loans
 Analyze and probe for additional information when needed
 Check and verify the supporting documentation of credit application file and request additional docs/information as necessary to assess the application creditworthiness
 Assess the credit risk of loan applications of individual and business accounts to identify clients’ repayment capacity
 Coordinate for submission of required information to other departments/units when requested
 Regularly review and monitor customer portfolio for risk indicators as required, e.g.:
o Monitor customer’s business and ensure line of utilization and use of fund are in accordance with the conditions
o Immediate follow-up on customers that show early signs of delinquency or violation of loan terms
 Ensure clients remain up to date with their loan and interest repayments and comply with the Collection Procedures as required.
 Report any information or event that may affect the client’s ability to repay, immediately to Branch Manager.
 Manage the existing portfolio of SME Clients, ensuring that the required regular credit reviews/renewals are undertaken and the bank’s risk remains controlled
 Comply with KPIs’ and SLA’s.

Process and service quality (15%)
 Deliver distinctive customer experience and satisfaction in loan application
 Facilitate for low TAT through customer reminders and regular status check-ins with credit assessment teams
 Monitor all customer related queries and requests to ensure timely resolutions

Education & Special Training
Essential
- Tertiary qualifications in sales and marketing, business or related fields such as Diploma in sales and marketing, Bachelor of Business, Management, Commerce, Finance,
Accounting, Economics and/or industry specific qualifications
- Basic competency in computer (MS Office – Excel, Word) and E-mail

Experience
Essential
- At least one year of job experience
- At least one year of sales & marketing experience

Languages
Essential
- Fluent in Myanmar language; reading , writing, speaking and listening

Desirable
- Conversational English proficiency would be beneficial
