The Specialist will work with the noted Expert to:
• To provide technical and supervisory inputs
o Social marketing activity for Secondary Education Subsector; and
o Social marketing activity for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) and new Competency Based Modular Short Courses (CBMSCs).
• To provide focused support to other activity areas, including related to implementation of the stipend pilot, Gender Action Plan and Ethnic Group Plan implementation, etc.

*The candidate should have a strong academic background (e.g., a bachelor’s degree or preferably a master’s or higher degree) in a relevant field.
*They should have significant experience and demonstrated capacity in carrying out related tasks in Myanmar’s education sector and/or relevant roles in other social sectors.
*They would preferably have experience in at least one of the following areas: (i) Social Marketing to promote increased Lower Secondary Education and Upper Secondary Education enrolment and completion of girls and boys development; (ii) Social marketing including local employer outreach to promote interest among youth, workers and employers in TVET, and increased employability of graduates
*Experience in relevant international donor-funded education projects/programs and/or demonstrated familiarity with education systems in other countries are also preferred. The candidate must also have strong spoken and written English skills.
