Roles & Responsibilities
Our development department is looking for a Full Stack Software Developer who cares and thinks as much about enabling a great end-to-end customer experience as they do about technology. If you're interested in contributing to the success of a smart shipping platform used by hundreds of ships around the world, keep on reading!
• Designing, building and deploying our products (both onboard and online), including the existing and the future suite of products
• Work in a cross-functional mission team with engineers, designers and analysts
• Continuously improve our code base, systems and processes
• Design and develop efficient solutions that can continue to scale
• Mentor other team members
• Responsible for maintaining high-quality of code and keeping up with the project timeline
• Take part in SCRUM meetings

Job Requirements

Knowledge/Skills/Qualification:
• 5+ years of software development experience
• Highly proficient with C# and .NET framework
• Highly proficient with JavaScript, HTML, CSS and modern web standards like MVC and API
• Highly Proficient in database design and development
• Experience with the architecture and deployment of complex applications
• Ability to turn ideas into fast, reliable and maintainable code
• Positive, proactive team player who is passionate about their craft
• Customer-centric prioritization and data-driven decision making
• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication) or equivalent
• Experience in React / Typescript is a plus
• Hands-on experience or strong inclination to NoSQL, Big Data, Machine learning, Data Analytics.
• Hands-on experience or strong inclination to Docker, Kubernetes
• Experience in Python is a plus
• Excellent spoken & written English
