Job Summary:
To perform with instruction from Supervisor as to beverage service and set up completion. To ensure performance of beverage service and mise-en-place according to standards required. Coordinate and execute daily work assignments as scheduled by Supervisor.

The job scope includes performing the related position tasks of handling all four buildings of Hotel, Office Tower, Residence and
apartment which are directly managed by the Hotel Management.

Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Report to work in good time before commencement of shift.
2. Provides counter service to all guests in accordance to established standards of quality.
3. Always be attentive to guest needs and complaints and take necessary action to ensure guests’ satisfaction within the parameters of the authority of the position.
4. Reports for duty of time, neatly groomed and in a clean and proper uniform.
5. Be familiarized with all beverage categories and preparations with correct usage of glass-wares and presentations.
6. Ensures that all operating equipments and supplies are spotlessly clean and maintained.
7. Uses proper procedures before, during and after serving of beverage to guests in accordance to required standards.
8. Participates with positive approach toward training and daily briefing.
9. Ensures proper usage of operating supplies and equipments to reduce misuse and breakage.
10. Ensures the keeping of bar counters clean and organized as to standard.
11. Realizes the importance of team spirit to ensure that fellow employees are pursuing a unified standard of service.
12. Ensures that beverage sales are properly processed through the electronic register and cash is a accounted for and balanced before the close of shifts.
13. Participates in group session to ensure creativities in the making of cocktails, mixed drinks and promotional drinks are achieved at optimum level.
14. Must be familiar with beer and post-mix reticulation processes.
15. Ensures that all beverage stocks are duly replenished prior to opening.
16. Familiarized with Ice machine procedures, glassware racking and Glass-washer procedures.
17. Must be knowledgeable with the service of Hors d’oeuvre and snacks to better serve guests as needed.
18. Report on complaints and/ or comments to Management.
19. Take personal responsibility for guest requests, follows up with relevant department to ensure the request has been acted upon.
20. Attend training program by manager and hotel.
21. Seek opportunities to continually improve guest service.
22. Identify VIP, Wyndham member, regular and long staying guest, develop rapport to offer personalized service and assistance.
23. Sell the hotel and Wyndham’s products and services using up-selling and suggestive selling techniques.
24. Promote the hotel and Wyndham product and service to guests.
25. Keep hotel information confidential.
26. Adhere to the hotel’s security and emergency policies and procedures.
27. Ensure a high level of cleaning is maintained in work area.
28. Abide by the Wyndham Guest Policies.
29. Abide by the Hotel’s Policies and Procedures, Wyndham Code of Business Conduct and the hotel’s Associate Handbook.
30. Carry out other tasks as directed by your supervisors.

Job Requirements

Job Knowledge / Skill:
1. Basic knowledge of hotel & bar operation
2. Knowledge of Micro and basic computer
3. Communicative English language skill and communication skill
Education:
High School

Experience:
Previous concerned working experience is preferred, but can be replaced by general good attitude and appearance and with potential to easily learn the skills

Additional Skill required:
1. Good and positive hospitality attitude
2. Other foreign language ability
3. Always willing to learn, willing to help
