Position Purpose
Individual will serve as a central point for the interfacing of systems, data and business. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and in a team environment, be adaptable to change, and be seeking a long-term opportunity to grow and assist with ongoing Data Intelligence / BI development.

Key Result Areas
• Implement reporting tasks as per business requirements and ensure they are automated and generated as per requested schedule.
• Execute one off data extraction and manipulation jobs as required
• Work closely with the IT department to validate any scripts produced and understand the performance impact on the source databases.
• Proactively identify trends and issues.
• Ensure that any data integrity issues are reported immediately and summarized weekly to management others authorized to receive this information.
• Monitor batch processing for daily reports.
• Determine operational objectives by studying business functions, gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats.
• Any other tasks directed by Head of Data Analytics & Director of Product & Data

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
• Develop, publish, and maintain SQL queries.
• Act as the subject matter expert for data and reporting.
• Ensure BI Software data reporting integrity.
• Assist with the integration of additional outside data sources into BI Software.
• Setup and monitor meaningful reporting alerts and KPIs.
• Ad-hoc analysis and reporting for multiple stakeholders.
• Coordinate with stakeholders on defining API requirements.
• Familiarity with source control systems, such as git or subversion.
• Execute multiple adhoc campaigns end to end execution

• Degree in IT / Computer Science / or any other quantitative subject.
• Minimum 5 years working experience with 2 years of experience as data analyst / BI developer / SQL analyst
• Demonstrated ability to design and run SQL queries, DDL jobs, stored procedures.
• Able to build relationships with multiple stakeholders.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (both English and Myanmar)
• Demonstrates familiarity and comfort working with Microsoft / Oracle / Open Source data management platforms
• Demonstrates a willingness to learn and grow in SQL comprehension and adequately applies self-learned techniques
• Strong attention to detail
• Interest in fintech and an understanding of how data can drive value in a fintech organization.
• Advanced understanding of Data Warehousing concepts
• Prior experience with a BI visualization tool (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, Qlik) preferred
• Capable of working across multiple functional groups and creating an understanding of changes impacting a given role and/or process area.
• Experience with programming languages such as R, Python or SAS is a plus.
