PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. To report to the elementary principal or secretary upon arrival at School.
2. To review with the principal or grade level leader all plans and schedules for that teaching day.
3. To maintain as fully as possible the established routines and procedures of the school and classroom which assigned.
4. To teach the lesson outlined and prepared by the absent teacher.
5. To consult as appropriate with the principal or grade level teachers (leader) before initiating any teaching or other procedures not specified in the teacher's lesson guide.
6. To assume responsibility for overseeing pupil behaviour in class and during duty times, lunch and recess periods.
7. To follow all policies and procedures to which regular teachers are subject and which good teaching practice dictates.
8. To assume confidentiality with regards to information about students, colleagues and parents.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. College degree required (in Education or Humanities preferred)

2. Previous experience and skilled in classroom management and educational involvement
