• Ensure that Networks, Systems and Services are available to users and that information is processed and transferred correctly, preserving its integrity that is to protect the operation of the systems.
• Administer, maintain, backup/recover, troubleshoot and issues resolutions of Network Devices, Servers, Operating Systems, Support Applications and Users’ desktops.
• Assist in maintaining functionality of services such as files/print service, messaging service, firewall access, remote access, IP telephony and call centre applications
• Administer and maintain security related applications and devices such as Anti-Spam, DLP, Anti-virus, etc.
• Be part of the Disaster Recovery team to set up and maintain the Disaster Recovery site.
• To provide helpdesk/onsite support to end-users.
• Periodically performing Housekeeping of Servers and Software/Hardware Inventory.
• Prepare and maintain prompt, complete documentation including network design, project plan, acceptance test plan, equipment configuration and other documents as required.
• Assist the Manager, IT Infrastructure, to ensure compliance with IT policy and procedures and IT audit requirements.
Job Requirements
• He/She is at least a diploma holder and has a minimum of 3 years’ experience in IT Infrastructure and End User Support. Ability to pick up new skills in applications and possess knowledge.
• He/She must be a team player willing to be on standby 24X7 to respond to systems alert and downtime.
• He/She must be able to read, write and communicate clearly in English.
