OVERALL PURPOSE

This role will assist the FX sales Manager /Assistant Manager and will be being part of the Treasury Front office team. The person will be focused but not limited to Foreign Exchange Sales.

DUTY AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• To ensure for checking the updated FX rates timely and substantiate the profit and loss of the Foreign Exchange transactions.
• To assist Manager in preparing documentation and reports such as FX rates and news
• To prepare in participating daily FX dealing with customers
• To achieve the target of FX volume, profit and customers.
• To assist Manager/Assistant Manager in selling FX related products and services to targeted clients, identifying and successfully capitalizing on cross-sell opportunities and making appropriate referrals.
• Resolves unusual or non-routine inquiries to ensure customer satisfaction
• To assist Manager/ Assistant Manager in urgent important one off tasks.

Knowledge & Skills
Essential
• Good local relationship with local/foreign business communities.
• Good knowledge in Treasury products (especially FX related products).
• Strong interpersonal skills, Professionalism, maturity and self-management.
• Manage time effectively and work well under pressure to meet the target and deadlines.
• Team player willing and able to collaborate with associates at all levels.
• Initiative and proactive.
• Market and develop a proactive FX business relationship with corporate clients
• Maintain and develop new FX profit & volume and strategic relationships with targeted clients.
• Support FX Treasury team in facilitating resolution for the clients
• Internally motivated to seek out answers, generate ideas, and develop new skills.

Education & Special Training
Essential
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related areas.
• Basic accounting knowledge is a plus.

Experience
Essential
• 1 to 2 years’ experience in the banking (Treasury) or investment field within Local or International Financial Institutions.
• 1 year of sales experience.

Languages
Essential
• Good communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills in both Myanmar and English.
• Excellent communication skills (Excel, PowerPoint &Email) &analytical skills.
