ROLE PURPOSE

Treasury Department is looking for an Officer in Asset & Liability Management and Hedging Solution sales, who will be reporting to the Deputy Head of Treasury to drive new business through the sales of treasury services offered by the Bank.

KEY ACCOUNT ABILITIES:
• Manage liquidity risk by ensuring the bank has enough liquidity to meet cash flow obligations and propose investment strategies for excess cash.
• Prepare and publish a weekly competitive interest rate sheet and make approved changes.
• Follow through of the entire sales process for the client – sales, execution, and preparation of term sheet and follow up on any trade issues.
• Responsibilities include sales prospecting, product pricing, and structuring, customer proposals and servicing.
• Understand the client's business environments, strategies, and industry to provide the best solution for their situation.
• Promote sales through frequent client meetings and discussions covering new products, market, and industry developments.
• Expand existing business and provide feedback to the management.
• Plan, develop and implement to meet the budgeted P&L of the year for new products and investment portfolio.

Job Requirements

Knowledge & Skills
Essential
• Basic knowledge of Derivative products such as Currency Forwards and Swaps.
• Strong knowledge of Fixed Income and Money Market products.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Presentational skills to both internal and external clients
• Numerate with the ability to identify financial issues
• Influencing skills
• Manage time effectively and work well under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Team player willing and able to collaborate with associates at all levels.
• Good technical skills, market & product knowledge and capable of responding to change in both the working and market environment.
• Effective relationship building, negotiation and facilitation skills

Education & Special Training
Essential
• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Finance, Economics or related areas.

Experience
Essential
• Proven experience in the local or foreign banking sector

Languages
Essential
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral in Myanmar and English
