Job Description

A Good Opportunity for ..

The TV Programming Manager is in charge of building grid strategy and schedules of programs for our home made TV channels.
With his/her team of schedulers, they manage inventories of contents, and plan programs schedules for home made channels, by using audience analysis and marketing datas.

Main duties :

o Conception of the programming grid (macro and micro) and production of a strategic grid. (for 8 channels)
o Micro/Macro Programming
o Rights management and exploitation
o Audience analysis, and study of the market competitors programming grids with the marketing teams
o Daily collaboration with with Departments Editorial, Acquisition, Operation, Localization, On Air Promotion and Marketing Programs.
o Managing special programming events
o Coordinating material and localization staff
o Manage a team of schedulers
o Report and discuss the strategy with the Program Director

Job Requirements

Required Skills :

o Strong interest into TV culture at local and international dimension
o Good knowledge of TV industry
o Understanding of local viewer behavior and trends
o Knowledge of international and local media regulations
o Ability to work with scheduling systems and Excel
o Ability to meet multiple objectives and tight deadlines in an environment with little supervision
o Ability to be highly organized and work autonomously in a shifting media environment
o An excellent eye for details
o Preferred experience in programming and scheduling department for TV industry
o Good management skills, good relationship, and leadership
o Work experience within and international environment would be a plus, and good english level is required
