Job Summary:
To be responsible for coordinating entire station and communicating with front- and back-of-the-house personnel to provide a dining experience which meets or exceeds guest expectations. Processes guest orders to ensure that all items are prepared properly and on a timely basis. May carve meats, bone fish and fowl, prepares flaming dishes and desserts at tableside and presents, opens, and pours wine when serving guests. Observes diners to ensure that guests are satisfied with the food and service, responds to additional requests and determines when the meal has been completed.

The job scope includes performing the related position tasks of handling all four buildings of Hotel, Office Tower, Residence and
apartment which are directly managed by the Hotel Management.

Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Report to work in good time before commencement of shift.
2. Obtains assigned service station from Supervisor at start of work shift.
3. Greet arriving guests with a smile and eye contact using the guest’s name.
4. Presents the guest with the menu. Informs guest of specials and menu changes, makes suggestions and answers questions regarding food, beverages, and service.
5. Takes food and beverage orders from guests (either written or memorized) and relays order to kitchen employee and bartender as appropriate.
6. Processes guests' orders to ensure all items are prepared properly and on a timely basis. Communicates with host/hostess, bus persons, kitchen employee, and bartender and coordinates entire station to ensure guest satisfaction with the food and service.
7. Serves courses from kitchen and services areas promptly, garnishing items with proper presentation prior to serving.
8. May carve meats, bone fish and fowl, prepare flaming dishes and desserts at tableside and present, open, and pour wine when serving guests.
9. Observes diners to ensure that guests are satisfied with the food and service, to respond to any additional requests, and to determine when the meal has been completed.
10. Totals bill and accepts payment or refers guest to cashier or host/hostess as appropriate.
11. May assist bus person with stocking work stations, removing, and resetting soiled dishes and silverware from table at conclusion of each course and cleaning and resetting vacated tables.
12. Assist in preparation of work schedules and annual leave schedules within budget, business expectations and guidelines of the appropriate industrial legislation.
13. Report on complaints and/ or comments to Management.
14. Take personal responsibility for guest requests, follows up with relevant department to ensure the request has been acted upon.
15. Ensure guest needs and reasonable requests are met.
16. Seek opportunities to continually improve guest service.
17. Identify VIP, Wyndham member, regular and long staying guest, develop rapport to offer personalized service and assistance.
18. Sell the hotel and Wyndham’s products and services using up-selling and suggestive selling techniques.
19. Promote the hotel and Wyndham product and service to guests.
20. Keep hotel information confidential.
21. Adhere to the hotel’s security and emergency policies and procedures.
22. Ensure a high level of cleaning is maintained in work area.
23. Abide by the Wyndham Guest Policies.
24. Abide by the Hotel’s Policies and Procedures, Wyndham Code of Business Conduct and the hotel’s Associate Handbook.
25. Carry out other tasks as directed by your supervisors.

Job Knowledge / Skill:

Experience:
Previous concerned working experience is preferred, but can be replaced by general good attitude and appearance and with potential to easily learn the skills
