The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for managing the warehouse facility with a storage capacity of 2,800 pallets. The major responsibilities of the role are:
• Inbound Management - ensuring that inventory is properly and accurately accounted for as well as stored and handled in an appropriate manner relating to temperature and other critical product parameters. This will cover all processes of Receiving, off-loading, staging, put away and scanning / administration.
• Outbound Management - ensuring that inventory is properly and accurately accounted for as well as picked and handled in an appropriate manner relating to temperature and other critical product parameters. This will cover all processes of Dispatch, loading, staging, picking and scanning / administration. Ensure inventory is managed to FEFO FIFO LIFO etc.
• General Administration – ensuring OHS, ISO, HACCP systems are in place and adhered to throughout the operation, compliance with all applicable government labour and manufacturing ordinances as appropriate for Kospa’s business and manage KPI reports, Petty Cash and Warehouse Services invoicing for all customers.
• People management - ensuring performance levels to achieve business plans and adhere to appropriate GWP, HACCP and quality standards.
• Management of budgets and execution of the annual plan in terms of KPI, operating expense and budgetary control.
• Implementation of ISO 22,000 and ISO 9001 processes and procedures as directed.

Experience and Qualifications.

We are seeking applications from candidates with previous experience of managing warehouses or a Region Distribution Center (RDC). Experience in managing cold chain is highly desirable. Additionally, candidates who have operated a Warehouse Management System will be highly regarded. Candidates should hold a degree in a related field and persons with qualifications in Supply Chain being a further advantage.

Candidates should also be able to demonstarte a successful record of managaing and developing teams. Previous experience in the management of cost budgets and administration is also required. Candidates withexperience within food distribution, dairy fmcg, paharmaceuticla perishable agricultural or retail experience are encouraged to apply for the role.
