Kospa Ltd (Kospa) has been contracted by Metro Wholesale Myanmar Limited to provide logistics services for the management of its Distribution Center and the provision of delivery services for its customers. The DC in Yangon shall be expanded, and additional warehouse and cross dock facilities added in 2019 -21. The warehouse will store +3,500 SKU across all temperatures. Further storage of frozen SKU will be stored at Kospa’s Mingarladon Warehouse. The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for the management of Metro inventory within the Metro owned facility at Thilawa and inventory stored at Mingarladon. The Warehouse Manager will manage and oversee all activities from receiving through to order dispatch to both Kospa and Metro standards.
The warehouse will operate 7 days a week and operate 24 hours. Categories of products in inventory will be FMCG grocery and Food and will be stored at temperatures ranging from frozen to ambient. It is envisaged that picking and dispatch will be at night and dispatch will be in the early morning hours.

The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for:
• Management of the Yangon warehouse facility. The Warehouse Manager will work jointly and collaboratively with internal stakeholders and Metro in this regard.
• Manage the receiving of Metro goods inbound to the warehouse ensuring that inventory is properly and accurately accounted for as well as stored and handled in an appropriate manner relating to temperature and other critical product parameters mandated by Metro. This will cover all processes of Receiving, off-loading, staging, put away and scanning / administration through the WMS.
• Manage the dispatch of customer products, ensuring that inventory is properly and accurately accounted for as well as picked and handled in an appropriate manner relating to temperature and other critical product parameters mandated by Metro. This will cover all processes of Dispatch, loading, staging, picking and scanning / administration in the WMS.
• Manage the inventory of the warehouse to ensure accurate administration and accuracy of inventory record keeping. Perform cycle counts as required.
• Manage the pallet float within the warehouse and crate float within the warehouse to ensure that all SKU can be stored and handled as per required standards
• Manage and maintain the computerized Warehouse Management System. This will include receiving, storage handling picking staging processes and tracking dispatch
• Prepare activity reports for invoicing
• Ensure all processes relating to cleaning sanitation pest control and security as contractually agreed with Metro are fully adhered to and implemented
• Ensure all contract f KPI, operating expense are tracked, monitored and achieved.
• Ensure all OHS are d QA requirements adhered to throughout the operation.
• Manage the Cold Chain to ensure all temperature sensitive products are handled within specifications.
• Ensure all GWP, hygiene pest control and product handling practices are adhered to and tracked.
• Recruit, manage and develop all operations staff to ensure performance levels to achieve business plans and adhere to appropriate GWP and quality standards.
• Management of all material handling equipment to ensure all equipment is always fully operational .
• Ensure compliance with all applicable government labour and manufacturing ordinances as appropriate for Kospa’s business.
• Administer and manage KPI reports, as required by Metro and the Contract logistics Director
• Implement all traceability and tracking procedures ensuring inventory is managed to FEFO FIFO LIFO etc.

Key Skills/Experience Required
1. Logistics professional with +5 years’ experience WAREHOUSE MANAGER role with 3 PL with demonstrable track record in startup and / or business in FMCG likely in Retail/distribution manufacturing .
2. Demonstrable experience of 3PL DC management with COLD CHAIN management experience a very distinct advantage.
3. Formal logistics qualification, APICS CSCP or equivalent preferred.
4. Mix of developed and emerging market logistics management experience well regarded.
5. Burmese language and English

Experience and Qualification
1. Warehouse and /or RDC management utilizing WMS
2. Cold Chain management (Important)
3. Fully conversant with ISO 22000 / HACCP.
4. Multi-cultural exposure,
5. IT literate, familiar with full MS Office suite. Superior Excel (mandatory)
6. Strong cost management experience.
