Purpose – To provide independent control and monitoring of branch financial accounting and ensure compliances at branch.
Broad Responsibilities:
• Responsible for Branch Finance & Accounts function.
• Build and maintain relationship with the banks & Liaison with the same as per the business requirement
• Ensure legal & SOP compliances
• Provide necessary reports to the management on periodic basis (Daily/ weekly/ monthly/ quarterly/ annually)
Branch Finance & Accounts
- Preparation of Financial reports
• Analyzing financial data.
• Overseeing and preparing income statements
• Streamlining accounting functions and operations
• Evaluating and managing risk
• Review of Sales contracts & documentation process
• Monthly Payroll Processing
• Monthly visit to warehouse
• Review bank statements on a weekly basis; perform bank reconciliations, liaising with the team to confirm details of payments / cash received, against back-up documentation. Record and report any irregularities,unexplained transactions to the management.
• Confirmation of balances, review of accruals / provision accounts on a monthly basis.
Banking
- Negotiating lines of credit with the banks
- Interacting with the banks for performing banking transactions, trade finance activities
Legal & SOP Compliances
• Compliance to the statutory local requirements
• Compliance to the Company SOP’s
• Audit report follow-ups, chasing outstanding actions and to assist in closing points by the required deadline, developing additional policies
and processes to further enhance the control environment.
• Compliance to monthly submission of reports, payment etc.
Financial Planning & MIS
• Financial reporting including preparation of financial statements, balancesheets, cash flow reports, budgets, budget-to-actuals and financial
projections
• Submission of necessary and periodic reports as advised by the manager.
