System Maintenance:• Work closely with the system vendors and users to eliminate system bugs• Conduct system review and testing• Ensure delivery of quality solutions within the agreed timelineSystem Enhancements:• Manage changes to baseline requirements with the use of effective application change control processes.Business As Usual Process:• Maintain the distributed databases, ensures high performance, and response to requests from the front-end• Troubleshoot and investigate help desk tickets submitted by end users• Prepare application issue reportsData Extraction:• Support business users with extracting required data to be able to make business decisions and to meet business goalsImplementing New Core PAS:• Participate in the migration of the existing core system to the new enterprise core insurance system

Job Requirements
• Bachelor of Information Technology /Computer Science• Working knowledge in Java, an enterprise RDBS (e.g. Oracle, MS SQL Server) or knowledge in reporting tools (e.g. Jasper, Crystal Report) is preferred• Articulate and proficient communication skills in English, both written and verbal• A logical approach to problem solving;• Very good knowledge in SDLC and OOP• Good interpersonal skills with strong technical ability to manage system maintenance and change control• Ability to work well under pressure• Knowledge of various personal and commercial lines of insurance products is an added advantage
