Job Description

An Exciting Opportunity for ...

  • Reviewing the company debtor list.
  • Contacting customers and informing them of their overdue bills.
  • Follow up on, collect and allocate receipts, collection and reporting activities according to specific deadlines
  • Advising customers on their payment options and suggesting methods of payments.
  • Contact and communicate effectively with debtors by phone to negotiate and implement debt recovery plans.
  • Writing final notice warnings to customers when payments are not being made.
  • Coordinate efforts to collect debts with sales, accounting, and client relationship departments.
  • Maintain electronic records and hard copies of all payment plans, amounts paid, and communications.
  • Entering data and keeping correct records is a must.
  • Responding to customer queries.
  • Reporting to Management and Department Head in timely manner

Job Requirements

  • Must be able to work independently
  • Must be detail oriented and organized
  • Confident and brave personality to approach and work with disagreeable defaulters
  • Proficiency in MS Office especially in Excel
  • Meticulously accurate abilities to calculate, post, and manage necessary accounting figures and records
  • Good English language skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to build relationships with clients and internal departments
  • Well versed in customer service and negotiation skills
  • Enthusiasm, drive and a can-do attitude 
  • Able to multi-task and prioritize work effectively
  • Bachelor's or higher degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration Excellent communication skills
  • Three years and more experience preferable
