The role holder is responsible for execution and undertaking daily ALM tasks to manage and address the asset/liabilities needs of the bank, executing
funding / hedging transactions through the Money Market desk with external counter parties by following internal rule and regulations to ensure optimal funding liquidity for daily operations. The role holder is also responsible for preparing and submitting management ALCO reports of high standards and in a timely manner. The role holder is also responsible for assisting ad-hoc projects and additional duties as assigned by his or her senior from time to time.

• Execute instructions / transaction orders received from senior to ensure sufficient funding within the interest rates risk guidance is supported to the businesses / VCGMs.
• Forecast interest rates, leads position on that basis, manages assets and liabilities and maximizes on arbitrage opportunities in order to maximize profit returns
• Implement the FTP methodology whist also ensuring consistency the bank’s overall strategic business and economic objectives
• Retrieve market rates data to prepare Market Research and Intelligence Report for ALCO and senior management
• Acquire exchange rate, Government Securities and money market data from CBM website and other websites to prepare discussion deck for reporting.
• Monitor bank’s portfolio of Government bond to ensure sufficient availability of liquid assets and analyze potential investment opportunities
• Input Money Market Placing /Receiving (mainly internal deals) entry data and FX Transaction into OPICs system and core banking
• Prepare the BRD and NPP for developing new products for Corporate ALM / Smart Treasury VC
• Arrange and attends internal training and knowledge sharing for the new and junior staffs
• Prepare SOP and user manual for the related products. Check internal reports and Central Bank reports daily
• To carry out additional duties as assigned by their superiors from time to time as
  required.

• B.Com (Management or Finance or Statistics)
• Minimum 3 to 5- years working experience in related field
