Job Description

  • Build strong relationships with existing Financial Institutions with whom AGD Bankmaintains Bank accounts for its smooth functioning.
  • Provide these Financial Institutions with all information and documents required as per their Know Your Customer / Customer Due Diligence requirements.
  • Seek out new business opportunities and advise Banks & Financial Institutions on our product/service solutions that meet their needs.
  • Work actively with AGD Teams such as Treasury, IBD, Risk and Operations & Correspondent Banks to support the design of appropriate customer solutions and resolve any issues or complaints.
  • Identify and establish relationships with target banks for new Correspondent Banking business opportunities for AGD Bank.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to ensure that our Correspondent Banks are provided the services in line with our Brand expectations.
  • Analyzing and preparing reports to update the Management on achievement of Financial Targets allocated to the Financial Institutions Unit.

Job Requirements

  • Graduate / University Degree in any discipline
  • Ability to write and speak fluently in English & Burmese.
  • Working Experience of at least 3 years in a sales or relationship management role - specifically in Payments gained within Banking or Finance Industries.
  • Working Knowledge of KYC / CDD requirements of Financial Institutions and familiar with the Financial Actions Task Force (FATF) Guidelines for Correspondent Banks CDD and International Fund Flows.
  • Proven network management skills are essential, with a keen eye for business opportunities.
  • Experience with establishing business relationships with Correspondent Banks in Myanmar or within the ASEAN region is desirable.
  • Exceptional Interpersonal, Problem-Solving and Conflict Resolution Skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools – esp. Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge on International Trade Flows & SWIFT Payments
  • Ability to construct crisp informative dashboards & reports for Senior Management.
