MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for the full spectrum of finance functions of assigned company or group of companies. Activities include: manage the day-to-day financial activities of the organization(s) ensuring that all financial transactions, systems and procedures comply with regulations, accounting principles and standards; accounts payable and receivable, financial analysis and reporting; budgeting, forecasting and asset accounting. Supervise and direct a team of accounting staff.
• Plan, develop, implement and supervise all aspects of Company’ financial and accounting control systems.    
• Ensure accounting records are maintained in accordance with generally accepted accounting standards and local statutory requirements.  
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly financial and management reports to Company Management, Regional Management 
• Initiate, plan and assist Division/Departmental Managers in the preparation of annual budgets and projections.
• Analyze and interpret monthly financial result to Company Management and highlight to Management variances and recommend immediate corrective actions when necessary.
• Manage the working capital requirements of the Company within the availability of the banking facilities, cash flow forecast and discuss with Company Management how to improve working capital management when necessary.  
• Enter into foreign currencies contracts to hedge against foreign currency liabilities and assets for the purpose of protecting profit margin
• Co-ordinate and review annual statutory audits and corporate tax returns. Attend to external and internal auditors’ questions and inquiries into the accounting and taxation matters
• Prepare and consolidate banking facilities and banking requirements of companies.  Monitor the consolidated cash flow, forex and banking facilities utilization.  Highlight to Credit Controller for potential deficiency or better optimization of facilities utilization.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• Bachelor Degree in any related field or B.Com or ACCA or DiplomainAccounting(LCCI)
• Minimum 5-7 years working experience in accounting field (Account Receivable, Account Payable and General Ledger)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word,PowerPoint,andExcel)
• Good Command of English Language; Good written and verbal communication skills
• Strong Interpersonal and Excellent customer service skills
• Good Knowledge in SAP or any other accounting software
• Strong in problem solving, communication skills and ability to work under tight timelines.
