Job Description


The purpose of the role is to provide excellent customer service for respective international banking services depend on the customer’s requirement.



  • Handle day-to-day operational cash tasks of International Banking in accordance to the bank’s policies and procedures
  • Ensure International Banking Branch’s operational functions, Account reconciliation, documentation and settlement are carried out as per defined SOP/SLAs and CBM’s instructions.
  • Attend to customers’ queries, explaining & advising products, processes & regulations to customers, & solve customer complaints
  • Manage & monitor on operational processes, staff efficiency, and provide recommendation for process improvements and controls
  • Verify proper signatures (endorsements) on cheques and internal vouchers
  • Safeguard, verify and control all cash assets
  • Establish and maintain cash movement policies, procedures, and controls.
  • Check the daily cash closing for Counter and Vault
  • Manage to currency replenishment for IB Branch, Money changer and other banks
  • Manage to the cash department according to the orders and directives issued from CBM
  • Responsible for training Junior Staffs and other Branches for foreign currency knowledge with new IB branches

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting is required, as is experience in cash management
  • At least 5 years’ experience working cash management or back-office operations department in a middle management level at international banking.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of banking rules and regulations.
  • Good awareness the foreign currencies notes security point
  • Be honest and integrity on the duties
  • Excellent on oral and written communication skill
  • Superior time management and prioritization skill
  • Effective interpersonal & communication (written and verbal) skills in both Myanmar and English languages.
