  • Responsible to coordinate with internal stakeholders for regulatory compliance matters, keeping abreast of relevant laws and regulations.
  • Provide advisory support to business units to comply with regulatory requirements while achieving their business objectives.
  • Maintain and monitor the Compliance Register ensuring the register is up to date and monitor the compliance status.
  • Develop regulatory compliance related content and produce engaging presentations that effectively convey information to relevant audience.
  • Facilitate compliance engagement in bank-wide initiatives and training sessions to ensure that employees are aware of relevant laws and regulations.
  • Provide support in comprehensive assessment of existing process, policies, and procedures to identify compliance gaps and develop strategies for remediations.
  • Participate in all major regulatory projects that have a business impact

Job Requirements

  • Minimum education requirement; Bachelor’s in Business Studies, Law, Banking or related fields
  • Minimum 1 to 3 years of knowledge and experience in banking or other financial services organizations within a regulated environment
  • A strong understanding of relevant laws and regulation and experience in banking sector
  • Previous experience in a compliance-related role is preferred.
  • Ability to make plans, develop and deliver results
  • Be a team player and sustain a positive team atmosphere
  • Excellent organizational skills and results orientation
  • Assist line Manager with projects and priorities as required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to effectively communicate compliance concepts to diverse audience.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work well in cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical, attention to detail and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address compliance issues.
  • Capable to fulfil various duties and responsibilities as required.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, particularly skilled in PowerPoint presentation creation
