Responsibilities

• Manages the daily activities of the branch office, with duties such as insurance claim processing (life, fire & allied perils, comprehensive motor, etc.)
• Marketing, auditing, loss prevention, and underwriting.
• Hires, trains, and monitors the performance of new insurance agents.
• Provides updates to the Head of Commercial regarding operating results, insurance trends, and competitor methods.
• May provide guidance on more complex issues.
• Develops new business through selling and marketing activities.
• Typically reports to the Head of Commercial.
• Typically manages through subordinate and professional in larges groups of moderate complexity.
• Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility.
• May give input into developing the budget.
• Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.

Job Requirements

Requirements
• Any graduate, preferably in the fields of Business, Sales and Marketing.
• Minimum (3) years of experience in a relevant field.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Computer literate
• English Language (Preferable)
• Able to work under pressure
• Results driven and customer focused
• Familiarity with industry’s rules and regulations
• Leadership and human resources management skills
• Familiarity with industry’s rules and regulations
