Job Description

Job Summary

The position’s main duties are to work closely with Head Office Departments such as Operation, Technology, Products, Services and Channels  as well as stakeholders from business units across Yoma Bank, to identify and implement necessary operational changes to enable a business to perform to its optimum ability under supervision of Line Manager. The individual will also effectively track the execution and update the status on these multiple interconnected projects throughout the business.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with the branches, business units, and team to maximize productivity.
  • To undertake specific tasks under the supervision of a Line Manager, including:
  • Identify and implement necessary operational changes and delivering measurable improvements to enable a business to perform to its optimum ability.
  • Oversee all areas of a business and recognizing areas for improvement within the Branches.
  • Oversee the branches Headcount and organization structure to recognize areas for improvement.
  • Reviewing and assessing new and existing processes and procedures. ​
  • Identify any risks in respect of changes and develop a strategy to overcome or address these.
  • Gather and analyze market information, benchmark products, technologies and maintain a database.
  • Identify the latest trends and technologies affecting our industry.
  • Maintain knowledge and acumen of market conditions to inform new product development.
  • Providing guidance to the branches in relation to risk, compliance, and culture.
  • Bridge any gap between the departments and maintain strong communications across all aspects of the bank.
  • Collect the feedback and coordination with stakeholder regarding to campaign/project.
  • Prepare regular reports in regard to performance and results of campaign/project.
  • Provide any necessary administrative support as needed.
  • Undertake any other duties as deemed necessary by Line Manager/Head of Department.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Studies, Management, Banking or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years working experiences in Operation, Financial Products, or banking industry.
  • Background knowledge on Branch Operations Processes.
  • Proficient at producing and presenting reports.
  • Ability to set and meet objectives.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suites (Words/Excel/PowerPoint).
  • Proficient in preparing and interpreting flowcharts (Microsoft Visio).
  • Ability to management the project, by using tools and applications.
  • Ability to identify Risks and put Controls.
  • Capable to execute and manage multiple deliverables simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Capable to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Capable to fulfill various duties and responsibilities.
  • Strong analytical skill and critical thinking skill.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of customer needs through appropriate business analysis and questioning.
  • Identifying opportunities to meet holistic banking needs of customers.
  • Knowledge of financial products and services.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both Myanmar & English (verbal and written).
