Job Description

This position will be responsible for leading the selling of company products and services though people management. Main objective of is to create sales opportunities and penetrating sales for potential and existing customers.

  • Recruit agents, who will sell the Insurance Products for the company.
  • Achieve business targets set by the company, to be achieved through the team of agents.
  • Lead in the sales of company products and services by working with stakeholders to develop sales strategies, generate customer leads, calls on customers to establish influential relationships to achieve sales objectives and KPIs.
  • Facilitate the pursuit of new business leads by using all resources available including personal network, seminars, trade shows, networking, etc. to penetrate and secure new business resulting in expanding the customer base and potential sale.
  • Maintains market awareness on competitor activities, industrial trends, and new concepts.
  • Guide and lead participation of the team of Agents, in all training programmes.
  • Have an in-depth knowledge of business products and value proposition.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field preferred.
  • Preference will be given to candidates from B2C sales background.
  • Team leading experience of minimum 3 years and working experience in that city atleast for 5 years.
  • Exhibits strong analytical, problem solving, organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to manage and motivate stakeholders in achieving set KPIs.
  • Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills - needed for communicating with a wide range of people, both internally and externally.
  • Must present professionalism when dealing with internal and external stakeholders.
