Responsibilities

  • Synthesize and effectively communicate research findings, conceptual ideas, user testing results, detailed design, and design rationale both verbally and through execution.
  • Generate ideas for service improvements for existing customer journeys and express these in revised journey blueprints and scenarios that reflect customer and business requirements.
  • Conduct and lead fieldwork with customers and other staff or stakeholders to identify value propositions and use cases, and to help shape resulting product requirements
  • Produce and validate early-stage product/service concepts using wireframes and prototypes.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers, data analysts, and go-to-market teams and use qualitative and quantitative insights to inform customer value propositions and product design

Job Requirements

Knowledge & Skills

ESSENTIAL

  • Able to take early hypotheses into full research plan & synthesize findings
  • Understand customer touch points and digital product ecosystems (mobile, desktop, call center, retail)
  • Good working knowledge of usability principles
  • Able to manage projects independently
  • Visualize, articulate and solve complex design problems
  • Comfortable working on early concepts
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent documentation and notetaking skills, and attention to detail

DESIRABLE

  • Data analysis or research background is a plus
  • Previous work on a product that exists in the market

Education & Special Training

ESSENTIAL

  • Degree or qualifications in Business, IT, Human Computer Interaction, Industrial Design or similar

Experience

ESSENTIAL

  • 3+ years of professional experience in UX design/research, market research, product management/development

DESIRABLE

  • Experience with visual/creative design a plus

Languages

ESSENTIAL

  • Fluent in both Myanmar and English (written and spoken)
