Job Description

  • Establish risk management policies and procedures to manage and control both financial and non-financial risks
  • Drive continuous standardization and improvement of risk management practices across the organization
  • Develop and deliver audience-appropriate ERM trainings to enhance the application of risk management in business processes
  • Establish risk appetite methodology, setting and communicating risk appetite statement and tolerance limits
  • Lead the identification and assessment of risk events, including strategic, financial and operational risks that could adversely affect the organization's business strategy
  • Track emerging risks both internal and external, and escalate to executive as appropriate
  • Disclose risk information (e.g., trend analysis, changes risk exposures) to relevant stakeholders including board, audit & risk committee, group management
  • Design and implement risk reporting systems and tools to improve effectiveness of analyzing and reporting risks
  • Develop and implement procedures to document risk mitigation actions, in coordination with functional owners
  • Assess the quality and consistency of audit files, with respect to adherence to audit methodology, practices and procedures
  • Work on Ad-hoc projects, as necessary.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in accounting, finance or related field
  • Experience in developing and implementing organizational-wide ERM policy and procedures
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to interface across all levels in the organization
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills
  • Knowledge of the requirements for effective report writing
  • Ability to comprehend and interpret policies, procedures, laws, regulations, and guidelines
  • Proficiency in English (both oral & written) for effective verbal and written communications, including active listening skills and skill in presenting findings and recommendations.
  • Effective team player and able to work independently
  • Must be computer literate and familiar with email, Microsoft Word, Excel and able to prepare Power Point Presentations
  • Able to travel within Myanmar
