Position Summary:

An experienced Backend Developer to join our team.

Primary focus will be for creating microservices following best practices and guideline.

The candidate will be incorporating DevOps culture by removing the dependency on team members by optimizing and automating the repetitive processes.

What will you be doing?

• Responsible for ensuring that microservices can be properly consumed by mobile apps
• Creating high performance, highly reliable, scalable and fault-tolerant infrastructure in day-to-day basic
• Achieving zero downtime from app infrastructure
• Creating CI/CD pipelines, monitoring and logging solutions by using popular/open-source tools

What do you need for the role?

• Around 3 to 4 years of experience in software development
• Around 2 years of hands-on experience with Golang and/or Node.js
• Familiar with microservices architecture and its best practices
• Strong understanding of computer fundamentals and problem-solving skills
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented methodology, functional programming, and software design patterns
• Experience with NoSQL/SQL databases
• Familiar with popular programming languages such as Go, Node.js, Python, Java etc.

Would be great if you are also:

• Around 1 years of hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure
• Working experience with dockers, CI/CD tools, container orchestration, load balancers and service discovery mechanisms
• Hands-on experience with cluster management solutions such as AWS ECS or Kubernetes
• Experiences in Agile, LEAN set up and DevOps culture
• Understanding of event-driven architecture and distributed system
• Knowledge with cloud infrastructure and troubleshooting failures
