  • The guest is greeted, seated and served promptly.
  • Provide best service, prompt and courteous service to the guest.
  • Make sure the smooth flow service.
  • To ensure the increasing profitability.
  • Take the task assignment from the supervisor.
  • Greet, seat and serve all beverages.
  • Make sure the smooth flow of service.
  • Observe and record the guest’s needs.
  • Recognize every guest
  • Prepare all necessary mise-en-place.
  • Provide the best service.
  • Replenish the bar snacks.
  • Refill in the side station.
  • Serve the food and drink in professional manner.
  • Follow the hygiene and cleanliness procedure.
  • Changing and picking up the linens.
  • Clean and polish all glass ware in hygiene purpose.
  • Take orders from the guest (recommending).
  • Create the bar display (decoration) if necessary.
  • Remember VIP and regular guest’s name.
  • The sommelier is responsible for the service of all alcoholic drinks during the service of meals. 
  • The wine butler must also be a sales person and should have a thorough knowledge of all drink to be served, of the best wines to go with certain foods and of the licensing laws in respect of the particular establishment and area.
  • Take owner ship in guest concern.
  • Attend the outlet (bar) training.
  • Familiar with all bar items.
  • Familiar with all bar equipments.
  • Maintain all equipments.
  • Have a positive attitude towards guests and colleagues.
  • Attending the outlet briefing.
  • Understand and follow the establishment policies.
  • Maintain the effective teamwork.
  • Maintain the quality of service.
  • Be respectful and helpful to all supervisors.
  • Have a good relationship with other colleagues.
  • Provide good co operation to all staff and division.
  • Communicate with the other departments in positive manner.
