As a core component of KBZ Bank Analytics centre of excellence (ACE) team, leadership role in business intelligence stream, the role holder is accountable for developing KBZ banks capability in the area of business intelligence and reporting.

1. Design and drive the KPI’s that are most important to decision makers.
2. Support the strategic integration of various streams of data along with IT organization.
3. Automation and digitization of information dashboards.
4. Develop KPI dashboards for leadership team use
5. Delivering high-quality reporting and insights through automation, insight and challenge to business areas.
6. Designing and managing underlying data sources (data infra.) to allow quick and efficient data extracts to support analysis
7. Participate in the development of strategies, operating models, roadmaps and business cases for Analytics and BI solutions
8. Develop, track, and enforce consistent data definitions and assumptions across KPI metrics and reporting
9. Advise in the usage, interpretation, and automation of data to various business partners including but not limited to recommended tools and software
10. Develop and implement strategies to support ongoing data management needs, such as governance, technology shifts, and regulatory compliance changes
11. Collaborate with cross-functional partners in product, engineering, operations, finance, and marketing to help develop data-informed business strategies and roadmaps
12. Hire, train, and supervise BI team and ensure that team meets the reporting and analytical needs of the business users
13. Supporting development of analytics roadmap.
14. Interaction with customers and business stakeholders to understand business requirements and identify data analytics driven business opportunities
15. Participate in the full lifecycle of an analytics or BI project: from gathering and understanding the requirements to creating the functional design, architecting the solution, supervising the detailed technical design and implementation, to preparing and executing the functional tests
16. Track and resolve risks, issues, and action items throughout project lifecycle.
17. Hire, train and deploy high potential local talent in the area of BI.

1. 8-10  years of professional experience in the area of data analysis, business analysis, reporting and business intelligence.
2. Expert level competency in SQL scripting and understanding of visualization platforms such as Power BI / Tableau.
3. Experience in dealing with large data platforms.
4. Experience in performance tuning of databases, writing stored procedures, job scheduling, ETL design etc.
5. Exposures to open source platforms such as Python is desirable but not mandatory.
