Job Description

On behalf of our Client, a well-known electronic distributor, We are looking for a: Brand Manager to be based at their offices in Yangon, Myanmar.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Achieves sales targets within assigned regions and accounts
  • Develops and executes strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expands our customer base
  • Builds and maintains strong, long-lasting customer relationships
  • Ensures the team is continuously motivated, trained, coached, and supported for the team to achieve personal/ departmental/ organizational goals
  • Responsible for marketing activities nationwide and overseeing the development and execution of marketing activities to support the business strategy such as road shows and seminars
  • Ensures all relevant reports for these responsible teams
  • Plans and delivers budgeted revenues and gross profit; ensures in-time payment collection and reduces bad debt (%)
  • Conducts monthly management meetings to review operations & financials
  • Responsible for the overall management of all strategic and operational activities for the Sales Team
  • Takes ownership of the management of the sales and marketing functions of the business
  • Gathers market intelligence on competitor's activities and takes counteraction
  • Works on account management plans with the sales accounts to identify key areas for improvement in the sales process
  • Set up meetings with prospective customers to sell the company’s products and services
  • Negotiates sales contracts with customers and ensures their profitability
  • Conducts new product development /launch and performs to increase outlet coverage
  • Increases in average sales per salesperson per month
  • Ensures to visit in the market and prepares the market visit report including the feedback, issues, and any other observations, and discusses with the management
  • Plans, monitors, and controls the sales and distribution, merchandising, and trade promotions

Job Requirements

  • University degree in any major subject
  • Minimum 10 years of sales and marketing experience, preferably in electronic business
  • Having knowledge about installer-related business
  • Project management experience, with a solid understanding of project management principles and techniques
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer skills, organizational skills, and ability to perform as a team
  • Analytical thinking and creative storytelling, well-versed in the data-driven approach
  • Good command of the English Language
  • Willing to travel on business trips
