Job Description

The Business Analyst’s role is to plan, design, develop, and launch efficient operations systems in support of core organizational functions and business processes. This includes gathering and analysing data in support of business cases, proposed projects, systems requirements and preparing of business presentation slides. To support Head of Bancassurance in her day to day functioning, especially during the startup phase of setting up Bancassurance function.

  • Determine operational objectives by studying business functions: gathering information: evaluating output requirements and formats
  • Ability to apply strong analytical and conceptual skills in workflow charts and diagrams; studying system capabilities; writing specifications, timely manner
  • Desire to improve current processes by studying current practices
  • Experience with dataset, constructing data analysis in order to answer business questions and being able to generate reports for presentations
  • Able to stress test on the current data to analyze and identify business trends for executive reports
  • Validate resource requirements and develop cost estimate models
  • Take responsibility for process rollout and ongoing management, communication and reporting of all implementation activities
  • Understand and communicate the financial and operational impact of any changes
  • Effective creation and maintenance of documentation in support of projects to ensure timely responses
  • Availability to work outside of standard work hours when needed

Job Requirements

  • Possess at least a Bachelor's Degree
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in insurance sector. 
  • Graduates / MBAs of formal education is desirable
  • Must be extremely good at Microsoft excel, PowerPoint.
  • Ability to converse/communicate fluently in Myanmar language and English
  • Very good analytical skills. 
  • Good knowledge of Business processes
  • Team Player
  • Basic knowledge of Budgets and cost control.
