PROFESSIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Yoma Bank's Corporate Credit Care is a specialized team within Corporate Banking that plays a critical role in the management of classified corporate accounts, providing an objective and independent assessment and management of classified exposures (corporate loans, trade products and the like).

Business Support Associate will be primarily responsible for preparing data for corporate credit care and corporate banking department.

This job function will also include the monitoring of borrower’s loan repayment pattern to assist in early problem recognition process. In addition, business support associate will perform credit analysis for problem accounts and completes other duties as assigned.

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Monitoring assigned accounts to assist in early problem recognition process
  • Identifying, modifying, and implementing designed and approved work out strategies / solutions.
  • Assist in evaluating customer’s data, such as historical financial information, management’s capabilities, and industry prospects to determine appropriate remediation strategy / solution.
  • Assist in preparing Annual Reviews, Classified Credit Reports, credit memorandums, Special Mention Assessments.
  • Monitor the transactional behavior of customers in their portfolio.
  • Participate in periodic portfolio reviews.

Job Requirements

Knowledge & Skills

Essential

  • Good local relationship with local business communities.
  • Good knowledge of local regulatory environment.
  • Good knowledge in various corporate banking products.
  • Excellent communication skills (written, spoken, email, PowerPoint).
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a team player with ability to coordinate with product partners and support functions.
  • Ability to work autonomously & capacity to take pressure and deliver business objectives, complete task deadline and prioritize workload are some key traits of a successful candidate

Education & Special Training

Preferred

  • Basic Degree in Commercial Law, Accounting, Business Finance, Economics or other business management discipline.

Experience

Essential

  • Minimum 1-2 years prior experience in financial industry

Languages

Essential

  • Ability to communicate (verbal and written) in both Myanmar and English languages
