Camp manager will play a key role in the successful, safe and efficient maintenance of PHE’s Myanmar camp(s).

Key Duties: 

• Liaise daily and closely with catering contractor, drivers, security, mechanic(s), construction, engineering, logistics, HSE personnel, visitors and various contractors to ensure the camp is maintained and running in a cost-efficient and safe manner
• Making sure the camp, PHE’s vehicles, facilities and equipment aren’t shut down and required servicing and maintenance made on time. Monitoring the performance of the services by contractors and subcontractors
• PHE’s vehicles journey management including filling up and coordinating daily vehicles schedules
• Camp based personnel management, HR, payroll and reporting to head office in Yangon
• Daily promote and lead HSE initiatives, inspections and improvements of the camp, in cooperation with HSE lead in Yangon and HSE officers on site
• Frequently calling, chasing, clarifying, coordinating and ordering required materials, supplies, upgrades and repairs for the camp  
• Planning and tracking daily arrival/departure of personnel and informing catering contractor ahead of time to prepare food and accommodation
• Tracking equipment and Materials receiving, consumption, conformance/non-conformance, inventories and reporting
• Tracking camp maintenance costs
• Make sure required paper work for the camp, vehicles registration, land lease and other is in place and appropriate documentation is provided to local and regional authorities
• Follow the PHE’s operations schedule to ensure camp and camp equipment is ready for ahead of time and available when needed
• Arrange for QA/QC support and call-off contractors and suppliers to the camp as required
• Operate within the PHE procurement process to identify and procure the most cost effective materials for camp, equipment and vehicles repairs, where necessary. Prior approval of Construction and maintenance manager is required for any Purchase/Service order
• Ensure that all materials are fit for purpose and available in a timely manner and plan and schedule the supply of materials and services for camp
• Reporting to Construction and Maintenance Manager as needed
• Other roles and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time 

• Bachelor's in Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years proven experience in logistics and materials management.
• Experience in an Oil and Gas environment is required. Experience in specific phases of a major oil field exploration project(s) will be an advantage.
• Good English (both written and spoken) and numeracy skills are essential.
• Demonstrates skills and experience in a management and co-ordination role,particulary an ability to manage contractors and service providers to ensure contractual compliance
• Demonstrable skills and experience in Preventive and Maintenance of Base Camp equipment and utilities, management of vehicle fleets, rig moves, heavy lifts are required.
• Knowledge of the management of upstream oil and gas inventories is preferred.
• Knowledge of International Oil and Gas Producers (IOGP) recommended practices and their application in company procedures with respect to land transport, lifting management.
• Ability to work independently.
