Job Description

  • Responsible for the management of NOC Staff and running of the NOC operating systems
  • Co-ordinate and manage schedules of all NOC supervisors and NOC Operators
  • Daily, weekly, monthly reporting in line with the Service Level Agreement requirements to the Head of Power & Technology / Head of Operations / CEO
  • Build a high-performance team responsible for 24/7 network monitoring and access control
  • Responsible for the setting of NOC staff quarterly, biannually, and yearly KPI’s and review
  • Conduct regular meetings to keep NOC staff abreast with new procedures and policies
  • Responsible for the standardization of NOC processes and procedures in accordance with company policies
  • Liaise with internal departments and vendors to resolve issues identified on sites
  • Responsible for the development and communication of performance reports to customers in line with the Service Level Agreement
  • Ensure all fault alarms received are cleared within the defined timescales as per Service Level Agreements
  • Ensure NOC policies and procedures are adhered to including fault escalation procedures and site access control
  • Analyse data to determine performance improvement or degradation for better decision making
  • Ensure all customer SLAs are fully recorded and met
  • Reconciliation and closure of monthly and quarterly liquidated damages for clients and maintenance partners
  • Work with finance department for the closure and issuance of credit notes to customers on liquidated damages
  • Perform special tasks/reports as assigned by higher management or as dictated by the business needs
  • Steering of governance meeting for maintenance partners and clients
  • Daily, weekly and monthly alarm reconciliation with clients
  • Ensure the full usage of company by all NOC staff and field teams in raising TT, SWO, SAR, PMWO, Fuel Management
  • Responsible for training and support for NOC and field teams in the usage of company and system functionality.
  • Ensure the functionality of RMS and make sure all NOC teams use it to prompt field teams proactively on alarms

Job Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree: Electrical/IT
  • Professional qualifications – Essential
  • Mandatory skills and attributes (e.g. technical, language, vertical, regional knowledge)
  • Computer Literate (Excel, Word, Power point, Outlook)
  • Mandatory skills and attributes (e.g. technical, language, vertical, regional knowledge) – Technical, IT, NOC systems and procedures
  • Length of minimum work experience – 5 years NOC experience
  • Lean Six Sigma certification is an added advantage
  • Excellent internal stakeholder management and providing them with professional advice and support
  • Good communicator at all levels of the organization
  • Excellent people management skills and good analytical skills
