DUTIES OF THE CHANNEL MANAGER

Responsible for the editorial strategies of the in-house channels (kids & documentary).
Evaluate and identify appropriate content, building out content strategy for this key category through historical performance, industry knowledge and insights, review and tirelessly research content and content catalogs, making selections that will positively impact the channel’s performance and content attractiveness
Develop programming grid based on available content and data.
Optimize the performance of managed channels/categories (kids & documentary).
Manage channels yearly/monthly budgets and rights availabilities.
Liaise with the internal/external stakeholders: Acquisition, Programming, Promo, Localization and production teams to ensure smooth cross-department logistics and functionality.
Assists to the Editorial Committee
Other tasks and duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED PROFILE

Bachelor's degree.
Direct experience within a digital or traditional media environment.
Broad knowledge and strong passion for kids & documentary contents..
Knowledge/interest in production is a plus
Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
Strong organization skills, multitasking skill
Reactivity and pragmatism
Good interpersonal skills / team spirit
Good level of English
