Job Scope

We are looking for a Chef De Partie to join our Cellar Door Fine Dining Restaurant’s and to prepare delicious western cuisine to the customers.

Job Description

  • Takes care of daily food preparation and duties assigned by the superiors to meet the standard and the quality set by the Restaurant.
  • Follows the instructions and recommendations from the immediate superiors to complete the daily tasks.
  • Coordinates daily tasks with the Chef.
  • Responsible to supervise junior chefs or commis.
  • Able to estimate the daily production needs and checking the quality of raw and cooked food products to ensure that standards are met.
  • Ensure that the production, preparation and presentation of food are of the highest quality at all times.
  • Personally, responsible for hygiene, safety and correct use of equipment and tools.

Job Requirements

  • Understanding of spoken and written English.
  • Flexible working hours subject to the demands of the business.
  • Able to work under pressure.
  • Excellent food cuisine talent.
  • At least 3 years’ experience cooking in a well-established restaurant or full-service and/or a minimum of 1 year in a supervisory role.
