Job Description

A Big Opportunity for ...

Manage day-to-day accounting operations
Take responsibilities for accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll and reconciliations, inventory management, trust account statement reconciliations, check runs, fixed asset activities, debt activity etc.
Plan, implement and oversee overall accounting strategy.
Create new internal accounting corporate policies and maintain existing policies.
Develop monthly and quarterly accounting reports for the management and executive teams.
Implement and monitor the month, quarter and year-end closeout accounting schedules.
Collating, preparing and interpreting reports, budgets, accounts, commentaries and financial statements.
Undertaking strategic analysis and assisting with strategic planning.
Producing financial forecasting and long-term business plans.
Undertaking research into pricing, competitors and factors affecting performance
Controlling income, cash flow and expenditure.
Developing and managing financial systems/models and managing budgets
Liaising with managerial staff, other colleagues and supervising staffs.
Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the company’s actual performance compared to the business plans.
Correspond with various other departments, discussing company plan and agreeing on future paths to be taken.
Review and improve accounting methods, policies and principles.

Job Requirements

Possess a degree in accountancy and/or CPA or equivalent professional qualifications (e.g., ACCA Part II)
Minimum 7 years’ relevant experience with at least 2 years in a managerial position
Strong knowledge of Myanmar Accounting Standards and IFRS, costing, taxation and corporate governance
Strong planning, organisational, interpersonal, analytical & presentation skills and able to work under pressure
Meticulous, hands-on, independent and self-motivated leader
Must be a team player, task oriented, ability to work in a highly dynamic, team environment and work with cross-functional teams
Strong effective communication, reading and writing skills in both English and Myanmar
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Words, Excel, PowerPoint)
