Job Description

Monitor day-to-day accounting activities within the Ayeyar Hinthar Group
Coordinating with finance team to complete assigned accounting tasks within deadlines
Handle full spectrum of financial and management reporting functions, business analysis, including consolidation, cash flow, budget and tax reporting
Ensure compliance with all corporate policies and procedures, statutory financial reporting and tax requirements
Review and perform analytics and explain variances on financial results
Review financial procedures, internal controls, business processes and systems to ensure effective controls are in place
Liaise with both internal and external parties, including bankers, auditors and officers for compliance matters
Manage to secure financial information by completing data base backups
Ad-hoc reporting, analysis, special projects and presentation if necessary

Job Requirements

Possess a degree in accountancy and/or CPA or equivalent professional qualifications (e.g., ACCA Part II)
Minimum 7 years’ relevant experience with at least 2 years in a managerial position
Strong knowledge of Myanmar Accounting Standards and IFRS, costing, taxation and corporate governance
Strong planning, organisational, interpersonal, analytical & presentation skills and able to work under pressure
Meticulous, hands-on, independent and self-motivated leader
Must be a team player, task oriented, ability to work in a highly dynamic, team environment and work with cross-functional teams
Strong effective communication, reading and writing skills in both English and Myanmar
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Words, Excel, PowerPoint)
External audit experience is preferred
SQL Accounting software knowledge is an advantage
Well knowledge on Myanmar tax laws and experience on handling all company taxes independently
