Financial Planning & Budgetary Control

• Determining Financial objectives, designing & implementing systems, policies & procedures in consultation with top management to facilitate internal financial control.
• Formulating budgets and conducting variance analysis to determine difference between projected/actual results and implementing corrective actions.
• Managing the preparation & maintenance of statutory books of accounts & financial statements including P&L Account and Balance Sheet, ensuring conformance to time and accuracy norms.
• Analyzing statutory books of accounts viz,journal,ledger,cash book and subsidiaries in compliance with time & accuracy norms.
• Presenting a true and fair view of the financial position of the company by preparing financial statements viz.P&L Account, Balance Sheet, and annual reports.
• Preparation of various analysis presentations for periodical reports to Managing Directors.
• Preparing creditors/debtor’s reconciliation statements.

Costing

• Determining the cost of the product; compiling cost and performance reports, cost benefits analysis and critical analysis of cost reports.
• Discussing with Statutory Auditors & Internal Auditor, Auditing & Closing of books of accounts along with schedules. Preparing various reports for cost audit purposes.

Taxation & Auditing

• Preparing tax plans and ensuring timely assessment and filing of direct & indirect tax returns including Sales Tax, Service Tax, Excise returns and TDS returns, appearing before regulatory tax authorities.
• Conducting annual audits; evaluating internal control systems/procedures with a view to highlight the shortcomings and implementing necessary recommendations.

MIS

• Preparing MIS reports & documentation at the end of each month.
• Arranging various ledgers & reconciliation statements for analyzing the books of accounts.
• Maintaining registers on debtors,creditors,expense sheets & analysis of profitability position.

Statutory Compliance / Liaison / Co-ordination

• Liaising with :
• Various government departments, ensuring smooth business operations.
• Banks/financial institutions for raising adequate finance to meet working capital and long-term capital requirements.
• Interacting with Auditors for finalization, consolidations & preparation of annual accounts.

• Any Gradulated plus CPA is strong advantage or B.com, B.Econ plus ACCA
• Proven 15 years + experience as CFO, finance officer or relevant role
• In depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices
• Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
• Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software (e.g. SAP)
• Ability to strategize and solve problems
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and people skills
• An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers
