Shwe Taung is actively looking for our next Chief Financial and Investment Officer who will bring the business into the next phase of growth. The position is open to both locals and expats, with preference given to those currently living in Myanmar.
Overall Responsibilities
The Chief Financial and Investment Officer (CFIO) has overall responsibility:
for the strategic planning, implementation, managing and running of all the finance activities of the Group, including business planning, budgeting, forecasting, risk and governance as well as negotiations, obtaining and maintaining investor relations and partnership compliance, and
for the identification and evaluation of potential investment opportunities to ensure that those opportunities will maximize shareholder profits and conform to the existing investment strategy
Detailed Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of the Group’s financial management, operations and activities; including Group consolidation of accounts, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts, risk analysis and management; as well as the Group’s cash management systems and processes.
Manage the Group treasury activities including portfolio management and fundraising
Manage relationship with lenders, investors and relevant government agencies
Fulfil external banks, internal audit and external tax and audit requirements. Ensure and determine proper remediating actions in response to audit findings and recommendations
Drive improvements in quality of financial and business analyses in order to guide all leaders in decision making and performance monitoring
Drive improvements in business processes and internal controls to ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures and to achieve cost reductions, as appropriate.
Proactively identify and mitigate business and financial risks associated with new business/project in Myanmar
Lead the financial due diligence and compliance reporting to various stakeholders including JV partners
Develop, update and execute Business Continuity Plan for the Group.

Job Requirements
Requirements:
Experience in securing financial leverages for large organisations
Prior experience in Construction, Property Development, Real Estate and Infrastructure will be preferred
An MBA, qualified CPA or CFA with more than 15 years of experience, minimum 10 years in a senior Finance related leadership role
