Supervising, co-hiring, training and developing of all Finance staff
Overseeing and controlling the activities of the Finance staff
Ensuring full tax and regulatory compliance of the company
Treasury and liquidity management
Financial analyses of performance and development of appropriate tools with the aim of reducing risk and improve efficiencies
Creating and/or improving policies and procedures for Finance activities
Strategic business planning and budgeting
Monitoring and enforcing budget compliance
Timely and accurately reporting the financial performance of the Company
Internal and external reporting
Participation in management meeting s of the Company contributing to strategic choices and important decisions of the company and ensuring good interdepartmental coordination
Liaise with external auditors and the regulator during their missions

Job Requirements

CPA or Accounting degree from a recognized university in Accountancy or Business Administration; and/or MBA from recognized university
At least five years relevant work experience, including two years in a finance manager or chief accountant or controller position or other acceptable supervisory capacity
Experience in micro-finance and/or commercial banking, or product development, is highly desirable
Knowledge of the Myanmar tax environment
Strong numeric and analytical abilities
Accurate and detail oriented person
Stress resistant and able to respect deadlines
Good management and people skills
Strong computer skills: Microsoft Office (excel and word)
Excellent communication and writing skills in English
Burmese would be an advantage
