Job Description

  • Provides leadership in the development for the continuous evaluation of short and long-term strategic financial objectives.
  • Ensure credibility of Finance group by providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial trends and forecasts.
  • Direct and oversee all aspects of the Finance & Accounting functions of the organization.
  • Evaluates and advises on the impact of long range planning, introduction of new programs/ strategies and regulatory action.
  • Develop organization prospects by studying economic trends and revenue opportunities; projecting acquisition and expansion prospects; analyzing organization operations; identifying opportunities for improvement, cost reduction, and systems enhancement; accumulating capital to fund expansion.
  • Train the Finance Unit and other staff on raising awareness and knowledge of financial management matters.
  • Work with the Chairman/MD on the strategic vision including fostering and cultivating stakeholder relationships on city, state, and national levels, as well as assisting in the development and negotiation of contracts.
  • Participate in developing new business, specifically: assist the CEO and COO in identifying new funding opportunities, the drafting of prospective programmatic budgets, and determining cost effectiveness of prospective service delivery.
  • For strategic decision making should have knowledge of financial metrics, including margins, EBITDA, and share price.
  • Attend Board and Subcommittee meetings; including being the lead staff on the Audit/Finance Committee.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior executives so as to identify their needs and seek full range of business solutions.
  • Provide executive management with advice on the financial implications of business activities. v Manage processes for financial forecasting, budgets and consolidation and reporting to the Company.
  • Provide recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities.
  • Decide on investment strategies by considering cash and liquidity risks
  • Ensure that effective internal controls are in place and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting.
  • Managing relationships with investors and investment institutions.
  • Identifying and managing business risks and insurance requirements
  • Knowledge on the procurement work process and participation in the key negotiation.
  • Support the CEO with the preparation of monthly and annual financial plans.

Job Requirements

  • BS in Accounting or Finance, MBA and/or CPA highly desirable v 5+ years in progressively responsible financial leadership roles.
  • Proven experience as CFO, finance officer or relevant role.
  • Able to speak & write Chinese and English languages.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization and with staff at remote locations essential.
  • In depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices.
  • Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
  • An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers.
  • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation.
