  • Strategic planning of IT and digital solution for business growth and business sustainability.
  • Develop and align IT strategies to achieve desired business results.
  • Develop/prepare IT Policy, IT operations manual, IT Security protocols/manuals and other IT/Digital functional SOPs/manuals as per central bank guidelines and prudent banking/international IT norms
  • Educate and train the IT/Digital Team members.
  • Ensure superior Information Technology (IT) support is given to all employees and members.
  • Develop a high performing team. Instil trust and provide leadership, mentoring, and direction.
  • Provide architectural direction and leadership for development teams to develop solutions that best leverage long-term strategic technology vision and align with business needs.
  • Lead business and IT members on technology evaluation, selection, solution design and implementation activities to ensure that proposed solutions are aligned with enterprise information and technology architecture.
  • Taking care of Program Management, Vendor Management, Information Risk Management.
  • Prepare RFP, BRD, IT Job scoping and procurement guidelines for hardware, software and all IT related purchases
  • Establish best IT/Software procurement practices, compliances and standards as per Internal and Central Bank Guidelines.
  • Provide tech systems and procedures in line with business goals and business requirements.
  • Oversee and maintain whole IT Operation, application and core banking system are run smoothly.
  • Develop and design, implement all banking application and online banking/digital products with the collaboration of related departments.
  • Communicate and collaborate regularly with executives and leadership/managers to understand current and developing needs.
  • Explore new technologies for long term and future planning and always seek the opportunities for technology advantages.
  • Analyse costs, value and risks of information technology to advise management and suggest actions.
  • Effectively prepare and present IT related reports to the Board of Directors as directed by CEO.
  • Ensure that all the agreements with the vendors are renewed well in time. Software versions are updated.
  • Ensure the source codes of all softwares are safely retained by the Bank and get the deviation approval accordingly.
  • Ensure strong control and IT security framework in the bank, protect bank’s data relating to its customers and financials. Recommend best security practices in the industry.
  • Develop the IT solutions as per business requirements related to CBS and non-CBS.
  • All other jobs as assigned by COO and/or CEO from time to time.

Job Requirements

Reuirements

  • Bachelor of Engineering in IT/ICT/Computer or Related Discipline/Master Degree in related Discipline is preferable.
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in handling CBS/IT related job in in Banking Industries including 5 years’ experience in senior/leadership role in IT/Digital Department.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in T24 core banking system
  • Experience in developing and implementation of digital products.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Course preferred
  • Preferred working knowledge of Data Warehousing and Data Analytics
  • Application Solution and Design Architecture 5-10 years’ experience managing an Information Technology operation, including experience in strategic planning and execution.
  • Understanding of Technology advantages and opportunities
