On behalf of our Client, an established construction consultancy, we are looking for Civil and Structure Engineer to be based at their offices in Yangon, Myanmar.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
• Performs duties assigned by Civil/ Structural Director/ Manager/ Team Leader
• Undertakes structural calculations and analysis; and produces economic and efficient buildable designs
• Liaises with the project architects, other engineering disciplines, sub-consultants and clients as required
• Undertakes site visits as required
• Undertakes quality assurance checking of drawings and calculations produced by self and that of other team members as directed by Team Leader/ Manager
• Ensures that all drawings are reviewed and checked by Team Leader/ Manager prior to external issue
• Produces structural design briefs, documents, reports and specifications as required
• Assists with ACAD structural design drawings as required
• Reviews shop drawings and material submissions from contractor/ construction manager
• Follows company’s design procedures and professional standards/ rules
• Liaises with contractors and undertakes site inspection duties as required
